Square Mile
By the 19th century Gwennap was the richest square mile in the world. The land around Redruth and Camborne held seams of tin and copper that powered the industrial revolution, and rivers that carried traces of gold all the way to the sea. It is estimated that 200 kilos of gold were extracted from Cornish mines. The men who worked those seams knew the value of something honest and well made. Miners Gold is brewed in their memory. Hand brewed in Redruth using whole hop flowers and hand-pitched yeast.
