Camborne is known for its gold. The rivers that run through the valley carry traces of it still, worn down from ancient seams and carried by the current to the sea. The largest golden nugget ever found in Cornish waterways weighed a single ounce and was discovered in the Carnon Valley in January 1808. Small, brilliant and worth more than it looked. Panning for Gold is brewed in that spirit. Hand brewed in Redruth using whole hop flowers and hand-pitched yeast.
